We keep this simple. This site is informational and lets you book a call, so we collect very little. Here is what we collect, why, and what control you have.
01Who we are
This website is operated by Alert Cloud LLC, 30 N Gould St, Suite R, Sheridan, WY 82801 (“AlertCloud”). It describes our engineering services and lets you book a discovery call. This policy explains what personal information we collect through the site and how we use it.
02Information we collect
Information you give us: when you book a call or send us a message, we collect your name, work email, company and the details you share about your project.
Information collected automatically: basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed and referring page, collected through standard server logs [CONFIRM: and any analytics or cookie tools in use].
We do not ask you to submit health information, payment details or other sensitive data through this site. Please do not include any in your messages.
03How we use it
We use your information to respond to enquiries, schedule and hold discovery calls, understand how the site is used and improve it, keep the site secure, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
04Scheduling and third-party services
Calls are booked through a third-party scheduling provider [CONFIRM: Calendly or Cal.com]. When you use it, your details are handled under that provider’s own privacy policy as well as this one. The site may also use service providers for hosting, email and analytics, who may process data only on our behalf.
05Cookies
The site uses only the cookies needed for it to work [CONFIRM: and analytics cookies, if enabled]. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work as intended.
06How long we keep information
We keep enquiry and scheduling records for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain our business records, then delete or anonymise them.
07Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
AlertCloud’s HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance applies to the systems and client work we deliver under our service agreements. It does not mean this informational website should be used to send protected health information.
08Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email support@alertcloud.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
09Children
This site is intended for business visitors and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10International visitors
AlertCloud is based in the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
